השבוע זה קרה שוב. פעוט מתוק בן שנתיים נשכח למוות ברכב על ידי אביו.

לא ברכב. בבית.
מול מאות ערוצי טלוויזיה או אינטרנט פתוח או עם אייפון משוכלל ביד.
ההורים העסוקים זוכים לשקט תעשייתי נוח להפליא. הילדים לא רבים זה עם זה, לא מסתכנים בחציית כביש ולא נחבלים תוך כדי רכיבה על אופניים.
אבל משהו רע, רע מאוד, קורה לנפש שלהם.
היא צורכת חומר מסוכן וקטלני. חשופה לפורנוגרפיה ואלימות וסופגת עולם ערכים מופקר ומתירני.
הילדים האלו אולי עטופים בשפע כלכלי ופינוקים חומריים, אבל מחמיצים את הדבר היקר ביותר שילדים זקוקים לו. את המצרך החיוני שחשוב בשבילם כאוויר לנשימה –
אבא ואמא שיהיו שם בשבילם. שיאהבו אותם, שיאמינו בהם, שיתמכו בהם, אבל גם שידעו לעצור אותם כשצריך. שיאמרו להם 'לא', שיציבו להם גבולות ושיכוונו אותם אל הדרך הנכונה.
